TrackThemColors Xtra New Version 1.6 Mac- Use multiple Cameras
New - TrackThemColors 1.2 for Windows adds QuickTime capture

What. TrackThemColors is an Xtra for Macromedia Director 5,6,7,8 that adds computer vision capabilities to director.
Why. Although computers are fast and smart and so are we, the interaction between computers and people is limited by the input devices; the mouse and keyboard. Imagine being able to interact with a computer by just waving your hands, making a gesture or pointing at an object. TrackThemColors lets you do just that. It turns any video camera to an input device.
How.

The Xtra lets you view the live video on stage or as a cast member, the source can be any video camera connected to the video port or firewire or USB. The Xtra can then track multiple objects in the video according to their color value, brightness or pattern, or track change over time and motion. The Xtra then deliver the coordinates of these objects to you in 2D (X,Y), or if you want, the Xtra can calculate the location of an object in space and return the result as 3D coordinates (X,Y,Z). The Xtra can also deliver the color values of specific pixels in the video for creating custom tracking methods or virtual "hot spots" in the video. New TrackThemColors 1.2 for windows with QuickTime capture now available. See Mac specifications , See Windows specifications , See Compatibility Chart
